From the sheets he was covered under, his hand emerged, hitting frantically at the small table nearby, in desperate attempt to shut the alarm clock up. Matter of fact, sending it flying out of the window wouldn't a bad idea. Eventually he managed to get hold of it. The only thing Brandon could recollect was a massive feeling of sorrow, right before sticking his head in the hospital's M&E (Memory and emotion) eliminator. Everything beyond those last 5 minutes of his previous life had gone. His career training, his family, and most parts of Gina.

Jason, 32 stared at the hospital ceiling. He'd seen it so many times before, so many other mornings like these, when he woke up and coughed up black pieces of lung with blood. But then again, he hadn't anything else better to do, than to look up and wait for thirty to forty minutes till the nurse arrived for a new pillow case. It was still the waking hours, and even the staff of the hospital we're working at a slow pace, especially for dying and untreatable cases.
Lung cancer, the doctor had told him. No wonder, a 3 packs a day habit since 16 and a half got the worst of him,finally. Th Pull the plug
